Rapid & Uniform Heating for Efficient Oil Release & Quality Improvement
Cooking is a critical process in Antarctic krill processing. Traditional equipment may suffer from low heat transfer efficiency, uneven temperature distribution, and fluctuations in residence time, resulting in insufficient protein coagulation, low oil release efficiency, and the loss of bioactive components such as astaxanthin and Omega-3. These issues negatively affect product quality and subsequent separation processes.
CB uses optimized heat exchange structures and precise temperature control technology to achieve rapid and uniform heating of materials, completing enzyme deactivation, protein coagulation, and oil release in a short time. This effectively improves centrifugal separation efficiency and product yield, maximizing the retention of natural active nutrients and providing a stable guarantee for the production of high-quality Antarctic krill meal and krill oil.
Precision Cascade Separation for Efficient Nutrient Recovery & Low-Energy Operation
Antarctic krill oil, stick water, and solid residue have similar densities and are rich in phospholipids and protein, making them prone to emulsification, entrainment, and incomplete separation, which leads to losses of oil and protein and increases the load and energy consumption of subsequent evaporation and drying.
CB adopts a collaborative cascade separation process using Decanter and Disc Seperator to realize continuous and efficient recovery of krill oil, stick water, and solid residue. By optimizing coordination with evaporation and drying systems, we enhance product quality consistency while reducing unit energy consumption and operating costs, maximizing the utilization of raw material value.
Low-Temp Concentration Technology for Nutrient Retention & Energy Efficiency
Antarctic krill stick water is characterized by high salt content, high protein, and susceptibility to scaling. Traditional evaporation systems are prone to reduced heat transfer efficiency, high energy consumption, and loss of heat-sensitive nutrients, which affects the recovery rate of soluble protein and system economics.
CB uses vacuum low-temperature evaporation and waste steam cascade recovery technology, combined with high-efficiency plate heat exchangers, to realize gentle and efficient concentration of stick water, maximizing the retention of nutritional value while reducing steam consumption. Aiming at the characteristics of krill materials such as ease of scaling and strong corrosiveness, we optimize flow channel structures and key material designs to ensure long-term stable system operation, achieving higher yields, lower energy consumption, and better economic benefits.
Gentle & Uniform Drying System to Lock in Nutrition & Product Value
Wet krill meal has the characteristics of high moisture and high protein. Traditional drying equipment is prone to local overheating or uneven drying, leading to protein denaturation and the degradation of active ingredients like astaxanthin. It can even cause clumping, oxidation, and shortened shelf life due to high residual moisture, directly affecting product quality and market value.
CB employs shell jacket and hollow disc dual indirect steam heating technology. Through low-speed turning and continuous conveying, it achieves gentle and uniform dehydration of materials, fundamentally avoiding the destruction of nutrients by local high temperatures. The system can flexibly adapt to different capacity requirements, balancing high-efficiency continuous production with low-energy operation to continuously output high-quality Antarctic krill meal with stable quality and higher nutritional value.
Rapid & Uniform Cooling to Ensure Product Quality & Storage Stability
If hot krill meal cannot be cooled down in time in uniform manner, it is prone to clumping, lipid oxidation, and loss of active ingredients due to local temperature rise and moisture migration, affecting product quality and shelf life.
CB adopts a process combining counter-current air cooling and low-speed screw conveying to achieve rapid and uniform cooling of the meal in a sealed environment, effectively inhibiting clumping, oxidation, and safety risks. The system fully protects heat-sensitive nutrients like astaxanthin and Omega-3, extends product shelf life, and integrates an efficient dust removal and recovery device to realize fine powder recovery and dust control, providing customers with safe, efficient, and continuous cooling solutions.
