Reefer
CB focuses on integrated complete refrigeration system for reefer. We follow international high-end marine refrigeration standards and have deep cooperation with leading original compressor manufacturers, have delivered main stream reefer project including 5200 DWT and 260,000 cft. We have long-term cooperation with domestic top shipyards and ocean shipping groups, with business covering transoceanic cold chain transportation of fishery products, frozen meat, fruits and vegetables of multiple categories.
We have developed NH3&CaCl2 system which is environmentally friendly secondary refrigerant system, it has been verified through long-term stable operation on numerous ocean-going vessels. We are one of the few domestic suppliers capable of full-process low GWP and Eco-friendly reefer refrigeration system delivery. We resolve five core operational pain points of ship-owners and continuously boost the comprehensive revenue of each shipping route from five aspects: expanding cargo sourcing channels, improving effective hold utilization rate, cutting long-distance cargo loss, reducing fuel and operation costs, and avoiding environmental penalties on global shipping routes.
Multi-Temperature-Zone Temperature Control Technology
Conventional reefer vessels adopt single-temperature design for each hold, which can only carry single type of product for identical storage temperature, resulting in a high empty hold rate on round trips. Meat, fruits and vegetables have vastly different reservation temperature requirements and cannot be stored and transported on the same vessel, restricting cargo sourcing channels and limiting to full utilization of hold capacity.
With mature NH3&CaCl2 secondary refrigerant circulation technology, CB realizes independent zone temperature control for holds. One single vessel can simultaneously carry goods with different reservation temperature such as tuna, meat, fruits and vegetables, breaking the limitation of single fishery product transportation, fully filling holds on outbound and return voyages, and greatly expanding the range of cargo categories for ship-owners.
Integrated Skid to Save Space and Shorten Project Delivery
Conventional refrigeration equipment requires site assembly from individual components, occupying a large amount of effective storage space in cargo holds. This assembly involves complicated procedures, leading to long construction cycles, delayed vessel delivery.
CB adopts factory-built skid from integrated design, drastically reduces cabin space occupied by equipment. Anti-corrosion components feature longer service life and lower frequency of offshore maintenance and replacement. With the skids and units from factory, only pipeline connection is required on site, greatly shortening on-site installation timespan at shipyard, accelerating overall delivery progress of reefer building, and launching routes earlier and generate revenue in advance.
Full-Space Triple Level Temperature Unifying System to Strictly Control Cargo Loss
Ordinary refrigerated holds suffer uneven cooling distribution, forming high-temperature dead zones or local low-temperature frost damage inside holds. Large temperature fluctuations occur during long voyages, making fishery products, fruits and vegetables highly prone to deterioration, massive product downgrade and scrappage, which leads to heavy cargo loss.
System from CB has three temperature unifying system: pump station with corrosion-resistant stainless steel manifold evenly distribute brine, anti-corrosion air coolers to have cold air forced circulation inside holds; standardized lightweight aluminum alloy air floor ducts guide airflow in fixed directions to maintain stable and balanced cabin temperature throughout the voyage.
Adjustable Secondary Refrigerant System for Energy-Saving & Precise Output Capacity
Conventional refrigeration units deliver constant cooling output and keep running at full load under partial-load conditions, resulting in excessive fuel consumption. Fuel expenditure accounts for the majority of route costs during long transoceanic voyages, continuously reducing shipping profits over long term.
The system from CB is equipped with intelligent load control modules, which automatically match refrigeration output according to cargo hold load and target storage temperature.
It eliminates fuel waste caused by ineffective cooling under partial-load conditions, continuously cutting vessel fuel consumption during long ocean voyage, reduces long term operation and improves the profit of each voyage.
Natural Eco-Friendly Refrigerant & Secondary Refrigerant System to Avoid Environmental Compliance Risks
-
Conventional vessels widely adopt high-GWP refrigerants such as R22 and R404A, which has severe ozone depletion and greenhouse effect risks. They are subject to strict restrictions under different polices. Their price is increasing dramatically by annual output reduction police. Vessels calling at overseas ports may face heavy fines, departure restrictions and loss of global navigation qualification.
The system from CB adopts green medium combination of ammonia natural refrigerant + calcium chloride Eco-friendly brine secondary refrigerant. The natural refrigerant has ODP = 0 and near-zero GWP, fully complying with global environmental control standards with no risk of phase-out. It features prominent advantages including safe zone isolation design, low-carbon long-term operation and guaranteed navigation access for global routes.
