Refrigeration System on 37.6m ULT Tuna Long Liner
This refrigeration system is for 37.6 m FRP ULT tuna long-liner for a major domestic enterprise. The vessel is constructed entirely from FRP with corrosion-resistance and light weight, well-suited to harsh offshore operating conditions. The vessel integrates multiple functions including catch harvesting, ULT quick-freezing and constant-temperature cold storage for high-end tuna fishing. The vessel has an overall length of 37.6 m and a moulded breadth of 9 m.
CB supplies the refrigeration system for the vessel, including:
* 2 sets of two-stage piston refrigeration units
* 2 sets of aluminum alloy shelf quick-freezer
* The system is fitted with high-corrosion-resistant refrigeration coils have good resist to marine salt, humid corrosion and other harsh environmental impacts, and ensure uniform temperature inside the hold. It meets core deep-sea operation requirements for rapid quick-freezing and long-term constant-temperature cold storage of tuna.

Total six FRP vessels adopt this efrigeration system. It enables independent and precise multi-grade temperature control for quick-freezing and cold-storage modes for this vessel type, substantially cutting energy consumption for onboard cold-chain logistics and subsequent operation-and-maintenance costs. It delivers efficient fishing operations alongside constant-temperature preservation of high-quality catches, bringing prominent economic benefits.
