Athena
The Athena is a trawler dedicated to the catching and processing of horse mackerel. The vessel has an overall length of 105 m and a moulded breadth of 20m, operating primarily in offshore off Chile in the South Pacific Ocean.
It is equipped with an automated processing production line with maximum daily processing capacity of 360 tons, supported by a vacuum pump suction system, ice slurry system, roller graders, 36 vertical plate freezers and fully automated packaging system.
The vessel’s NH3 refrigeration system delivers a maximum daily freezing capacity of 360 tons. The total refrigerated cargo hold capacity fish catches reaches 4,000 tons, with coil type evaporators installed inside.
Classified by DNV, the vessel complies with mainstream European operational procedures and standards.
