Guoxin No.1 Aquaculture Vessel
Guoxin No.1 is the world’s first 100,000 tonne class smart aquaculture vessel (249.9 m LOA, 45 m beam, 130,000 t displacement). It is hailed as the “aircraft carrier of aquaculture”. Featuring 15 aquaculture tanks with a total aquaculture water volume of nearly 90,000 m³, Guoxin No.1 has a designed annual production capacity of 3,700 tons of high quality fish. Serving as a mobile offshore aquaculture factory integrating fry breeding, farming, processing, cold storage and transportation, it pioneers the world first “cruising on board tank rearing model”.
Classed by CCS with a Fishing Vessel Inspection Certificate, its products hold ASC certification and 6 international system standards (including HACCP, ISO 22000, and ISO 9001), and are featured in MARA's National Directories of Famous, Special, Excellent, and Specialty Agricultural Products.
CB supplied the complete processing system for the vessel built in 2022, covering chilled fresh and quick freezing production lines for large yellow croaker. It also delivered a dual mode slurry ice system featuring two adjustable concentrations to support on board pre cooling and transfer. After large yellow croaker are vacuum pumped from the aquaculture tanks into the processing plant, slurry ice is applied for fish sedation, temperature reduction and preservation. A marine grade Marel grading system is deployed for precise size sorting. The processing system has a designed throughput of ≥ 50 t/12 h for chilled fish and ≥ 15 t/12 h for frozen fish.
This processing system meets the on board “instant freshness locking upon harvest” requirements for deep sea aquaculture work ships, significantly improving logistics and transfer efficiency.
